The National Institute of Health (NIH), National Center for Advancing Translational Science
(NCATS) approached ADS to analyze existing LabVIEW code for a potential upgrade path for their
Acoustic Liquid Dispensing System. ADS has broken the effort into two (2) phases: a Discovery Phase and Planning & Design
Phase.
During the discovery phase, ADS will review the current LabVIEW software code and obsolete
hardware to understand the best way to upgrade the instrumentation to a functional state and
submit a report of our recommendations. After reviewing and observing the current system,
during the planning and design phase ADS will determine the best approach to retrofit or
re-engineer the dispenser.
At the conclusion of the planning phase, ADS will submit a report and convene a meeting with
NIH NCATS. During this meeting, ADS will discuss their design strategies and findings to
determine an execution plan.
