Data License and Source Terms

Public data sources

GETWAB organizes publicly available United States federal procurement and related government records. Sources may include SAM.gov Data Services, historical Federal Procurement Data System records, and other official public datasets identified within the Services.

Works created by United States federal government employees as part of their official duties are generally not protected by copyright in the United States under 17 U.S.C. § 105. Source systems may nevertheless contain third-party material, trademarks, logos, personal information, restricted fields, or content governed by separate laws, licenses, and agency policies.

Source records and GETWAB material

GETWAB does not claim ownership of underlying public federal records. The original source provider remains responsible for its records, publication practices, corrections, and applicable terms.

GETWAB retains rights, to the extent permitted by law, in its original software, database organization, selection and arrangement, queries, data relationships, explanatory text, visualizations, interface design, branding, and other independently created analytical material.

Permitted use

You may view, link to, and make reasonable quotations from publicly accessible GETWAB pages for lawful research, reporting, and market analysis. You may use underlying public government records according to applicable law and the originating source’s terms.

Unless permitted by law or authorized by GETWAB in writing, you may not reproduce substantial portions of GETWAB-created text, visualizations, organized datasets, proprietary relationships, or interface content; use automated means to systematically reconstruct the Services; remove source or ownership notices; or use GETWAB branding in a way that implies endorsement.

Attribution

When reusing an underlying federal record, identify the applicable government system as the original source where practical. When referring to analysis or presentation created by GETWAB, the following attribution is recommended:

Attribution to GETWAB or a government source does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, approval, or endorsement.

Government names, seals, and logos

Agency names, seals, insignia, and logos may be protected by statutes, regulations, trademarks, or agency-specific usage policies. Their appearance within the Services is for identification and informational purposes only. You are responsible for evaluating applicable restrictions before reusing them.

Accuracy and source changes

Government records may contain reporting delays, corrections, omissions, duplicate records, classification changes, or source-system errors. GETWAB may transform, normalize, connect, cache, or summarize source records to support research, but does not guarantee that data or analytical output is complete, current, or error-free.

Verify material information against the applicable official record before using it for legal, audit, financial, compliance, procurement, or strategic decisions.

No government affiliation or warranty

GETWAB INC. is an independent private company and is not an agency of, sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the United States Government.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DATA AND ANALYTICAL MATERIAL ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
